SearchPlus version 2.041 has been released. This tool does simultaneous multiple file searches, including in zip archives. Unfortunately, the latest version seems to have disappeared from Hobbes; hopefully the author will upload it again.
aacgain version 1.8 has been ported (11/30/2014) to OS/2. This modification of mp3gain supports adjusting the volume of mp3 and aac files.

A Qt4 update has been released (11/21/2014) to fix broken SSL support in QtWebKit-based browsers such as Qupzilla and Dooble. The reason things broke is that it was defaulting to SSL3, which everyone has disabled due to known vulnerabilities.

qelectrotech version 0.4 beta has been ported (11/3/2014) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is for designing electrical diagrams.
Wget version 1.16 has been ported (11/2/2014) to OS/2. This is a utility to retrieve files from the World Wide Web using HTTP and FTP, including downloading files larger than 2GB, and from SSL sites. The recursive retrieval of HTML pages, as well as FTP sites is supported - you can use it to make mirrors of archives and home pages. Re-getting incomplete files from where it left off works on servers (both HTTP and FTP) that support it.
Paul Smedley has released (11/2/2014) a port of GCC version 4.9.2. This compiler allows many modern projects to be compiled for OS/2. Also available are ports of 4.8.3, 4.7.4, 4.5.4 and 4.4.6, as well as even older GCC versions 4.3.x, 4.0.4, and 3.4.6. From VOICE News.

Top version 2.13 has been released. This VIO application monitors CPU usage by process. The process list can be sorted according to various criteria (including CPU percentage, name, threads), and any process from the list can be selected to be killed.
Bison version 2.7.91 and GNU AWK version 4.1.1 have been ported (10/23/2014) to OS/2. These are programmer's tools that are prevalent on Unix platforms.
Synkron version 1.6.8 has been ported (10/22/2014) to OS/2. This is a directory synchronization tool with a Qt4 based GUI and many options.
yagodu version 2.3 has been ported (10/20/2014) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a password management tool.
An automated installer for the Microsoft ClearType Font Collection has been updated (10/16/2014) to version 1.1. It will download the fonts Calibri, Cambria, Candara, Consolas, Constantia, and Corbel from Microsoft, and install them on your OS/2 system.
WPA Supplicant version 2.3 has been ported (10/12/2014) to OS/2. This is a backend component for controlling the wireless networking connection. An older version of this program is included with XWLan. The latest build is not officially posted yet, pending testing.
Ghostscript version 9.15 has been ported (10/11/2014) to OS/2. This is an interpreter for the PostScript language, compatible with GSView.

Logical Config.Sys Sort version 0.4.8 has been released (10/2/2014). This sorts the CONFIG.SYS file into logical sections.
RexxCC version 3.23 has been released (9/13/2014). This tool compresses REXX by deleting superfluous whitespace, linefeeds, and comments, and is now open source under the CDDL v1 license. From OS2World.
lzip version 1.16 and clzip version 1.6 have been ported (9/8/2014) to OS/2. lzip is a lossless file compressor using LZMA that is almost as fast as gzip, and compresses better than bzip2.
More Qt4 apps were ported (9/4/2014) to OS/2, including: hotshots version 2.2.0 is for taking screenshots and making annotations on them; and diffimg version 2.2.0 is a simple image comparison tool.
GenINI version 1.61 has been released (8/30/2014); this is a pair of programs to back up OS/2 INI files in human-readable form, and to restore an INI file from the human-readable form. GenINI is freeware and open source.
FocusWriter version 1.5.3 has been ported (8/28/2014) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a full-screen basic word processing program.

LESS version 4.58 has been ported (8/25/2014) to OS/2. LESS is an enhanced version of MORE, good for all of us command-line junkies.
Tower Toppler has been ported (8/16/2014) to OS/2. This is a remake of an old game, which uses the SDL libraries.
More SDL games have been ported (8/15/2014) to OS/2, including: Road Fighter is a remake of an old car driving game; Scavenger is a puzzle game like Lode Runner; and SuperTux is a jump'n run game, inspired by Super Mario Bros.
SigmaMD5 version 2.1 has been released (8/15/2014). This is a PM program that reads and creates MD5 checksum files, compatible with the GNU MD5SUM program. It provides a clear visual indication of checksum status (error's etc.) as well as error sorting and comprehensive logging facilities. It is useful for verifying that CD ISO images are valid prior to burning them to disc.
More SDL games have been ported (8/13/2014) to OS/2, including: Maze of Galious is a clone of an old sidescrolling game from Konami; and MegaMario is a clone of the old Nintendo game with Mario and Luigi.

LAME version 3.99.5 r2 has been ported (7/18/2014) to OS/2. LAME is an MP3 encoder, and includes a graphical frame analyzer.
GNU m4 version 1.4.17 has been ported (7/18/2014) to OS/2. This is the GNU macro processor, useful for some development projects.
Media Pack v.008 has been released (7/10/2014). This is a Rexx install script for mPlayer, which also installs the MP3 codec, removes the old MMAVI class, and sets up associations for popular video codecs.

eBackUp version 1.10 has been released (6/30/2014). This is a backup and restore utility, which uses the RAR32 archiving tool.
Flashback has been ported (6/29/2014) to OS/2. This port of the REminiscence engine for the game Flashback uses data files from the MS-DOS version, and music files from the Amiga version.
AnotherWorld has been ported (6/29/2014) to OS/2. This port of the Fabother World engine runs the game Another World, aka Out Of This World.
