HyperText/2 version 2.01 has been released (12/20/2015). This package allows you to easily create OS/2 INF files with only a handful of commands.

MikMod version 3.2.7 has been ported (12/9/2015) to OS/2. This is a text mode MOD player supporting many formats, including mod, s3m, it, and xm.

GNU Units version 2.12 has been ported (12/6/2015) to OS/2. This tool converts between many systems of measurement.

OpenSSL version 1.0.0t has been ported (12/4/2015) to OS/2. This is a robust, commercial-grade, full-featured, and Open Source toolkit implementing the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1) protocols, as well as a full-strength general purpose cryptography library.

The GCC runtime package has been updated (12/3/2015) to version 1.3.1. This packages contains the runtime libraries (DLLs) required to run software compiled with various versions of the GCC compiler. There is now a universal "gcc1.dll" with forwarders for the various incarnations.

elogbook version 1.9.8 has been ported (11/22/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is for logging notes and comments.

Qpdfview version 0.4.16 has been ported (11/18/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a tabbed PDF viewer using the poppler library (same as Lucide).

More Qt4 apps were ported (11/15/2015) to OS/2, including: qftp version 1.5.8 is an FTP client; and textool version 1.5.10 is a GUI for LaTeX documents.

Clipgrab version 3.5.5 has been ported (11/14/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app allows you to download Flash videos from various web sites, including YouTube.

Qupzilla version 1.8.9 has been ported (11/13/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a Webkit-based browser.

WPSClassEdit version 1.6.1 has been released (11/13/2015). This is a utility to easily manage WPS classes, it can register, deregister, and create instances of WPS classes. It is based on VClassed, which was released under the GPL.

Texmaker version 4.5 has been ported (11/1/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a LaTeX editor.

NZBGet version 16.2 has been ported (10/25/2015) to OS/2. This is a binary newsgrabber, which downloads files from usenet.

TCP/IP Profile Manager version 1.1 has been released (10/24/2015). This tool lets you define and switch between multiple different TCP/IP configurations, which is primary useful for laptops used in different locations.

Colorcode version 0.8.5 has been ported (10/19/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a clone of the Mastermind game.

EasySync version 3.1.0 has been released (10/15/2015). This PM synchronization and backup utility lets you see at a glance what files need to be updated between two directories, whether they reside on the same machine or separate computers on the network. Transfer can be set to bi-directional to fully synchronize two directories, or uni-directional to limit what is updated.

FM/2 version 3.24 has been released (10/12/2015). This is an open source GUI file manager program, with lots of extra helper utilities. The source code is available from netlabs.org. Thanks to Gregg Young for the info.

GraphicsMagick version 1.3.21 has been ported (9/19/2015) to OS/2. This fork of ImageMagick supports up to gigapixel-size images, and can be used to resize, rotate, sharpen, color reduce, or add special effects to an image, and convert between image formats.

mpeg2encdec version 1.1 has been ported (9/19/2015) to OS/2. This converts uncompressed video frames into MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video coded bitstream sequences, and vice versa.

CUE/WAV Extract Utility version 1.1 has been ported (9/9/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app does batch extraction of individual tracks from .CUE/.WAV audio disk images.

Flacon version 1.2.0 has been ported (9/7/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app extracts individual tracks from one big audio file.

Webissues version 1.1.3 has been ported (9/3/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is for issue tracking and team collaboration.

More Qt4 apps were ported (9/2/2015) to OS/2, including: nomacs version 2.4.6 is an image viewer; and Qoobar version 1.6.7 is a tag editor for music files, such as MP3 and Ogg Vorbis.

The USB-based monitor for APC Back-UPS CS/ES has been updated (8/31/2015) to version 0.17. The web site is in Russian, but there is an English readme file.

FONTNAME version 1.0 has been released (8/25/2015). This is a command-line tool which displays information about TrueType and OpenType fonts. It summarizes the NAME table, lists included CMAPs, and can optionally dump the OS/2 or POST tables or display information about kerning pairs.

Advanced Photo version 1.4.1 has been ported (8/16/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is an image viewer and basic editor.

CutyCapt 2013-07-14 has been ported (8/13/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app can save web pages into a variety of vector and bitmap formats.

Paul Smedley has released (8/10/2015) an OS/2 build of Subversion 1.7.21. Subversion is software for version control, intended to replace CVS.

quban version 0.7.5 has been ported (8/3/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is for downloading encoded Usenet articles.

Greggory Shaw released version .031b5 of his Firefox Drag&Drop install script; it also handles SeaMonkey and Thunderbird, and includes the latest required DLLs.

USB Extended Control Driver version 2.3 has been released. This driver enables you to directly control USB devices, via an API that conforms to the standard DosRead and DosWrite functions.

New Athena Unicode fonts version 5.002 have been packaged (7/20/2015) for OS/2. This is a freeware multilingual font that follows the Unicode standard and includes characters for several languages.

More Qt4 apps were ported (7/5/2015) to OS/2, including: Dooble version 1.53 is a web browser using the WebKit engine; and ChessX version 1.3.2 is a chess database, for analyzing chess games.

Pentobi version 5.0 has been ported (7/3/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is an implementation of the board game Blokus.

Socializer version 1.1 has been ported (6/19/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a Facebook application.

Drawpile version 0.6.0 has been ported (6/16/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a collaborative drawing program that allows multiple users to sketch on the same canvas simultaneously.

dmidecode version 2.12 has been ported (6/1/2015) to OS/2. This tool reports information about your system's hardware, as described in your system BIOS, according to the SMBIOS/DMI standard.

Rexx/DW version 2.1 has been released (5/31/2015). This is a cross-platform GUI toolkit being developed, which runs on top of the Dynamic Windows GUI library.

A patch for Theseus4 has been released (5/24/2015), to properly display the IDT.

Emulate Mouse Driver version 1.0 has been released. This provides a device driver to send absolute mouse events into the OS/2 system, and has been specifically designed to ease the development and integration of touch screen solutions.

Movie thumbnailer 20121125a has been ported (5/17/2015) to OS/2. This tool saves screenshots of video files to jpeg files, using FFmpeg's libavcodec.

FFmpegthumbnailer version 2.0.9 has been ported (5/8/2015) to OS/2. This is a lightweight video thumbnailer to create thumbnails for video files.

GIFSicle version 1.87 has been ported (5/1/2015) to OS/2. This is an animated GIF creation program.

Daniel Valot has some nice games featuring various tile sets and different layouts. Shisen-Sho, Mah Jongg, SameGame, and Lines have been updated (4/27/2015) to version 1.27.

WinIco version 0.94 has been released (4/25/2015). This program converts icons from the Win32 format into the OS/2 format; source code is available under the GPL license.

K Alarm version 1.0.0 has been released (4/25/2015). This app is for setting an alarm, either once, at regular intervals, or weekly.

Regina REXX version 3.9.1 has been released (4/6/2015). This is an implementation of the ANSI Standard REXX Programming Language. From OS2World.

A patch to bring Styler/2 (aka Smart Windows) to version 1.7.5 has been released (4/1/2015, but files are from 2/12/2006); the shareware limitations have been removed. The program features: shade or bitmap as titlebar background; 3D effect for titlebar text; selectable bitmaps for the window controls (you can change them at run time: no DLL patching required); selectable position for the window close button; titlebar hiding / mouse sensitive pop-up; titlebar context menu; WarpSans font for all dialog windows; window rolling; frame drag; entry fields automatic text selection (you can choose which mouse event selects the whole entry field content); automatic (sliding) focus (works with WinOS2 windows as well); mouse pointer hiding; mouse button double click emulation; and easy-to-use PM installer / uninstaller.

Kuklomenos version 0.4.5 has been ported (3/1/2015) to OS/2. This SDL game is an abstract shoot-em-up with minimalistic graphics.

natrix-calc version 2.3 has been ported (3/1/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is for calculating parameters of IPv4/IPv6 networks.

SerpTrain version 0.6.0 has been ported (2/24/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a game about guiding colored balls through the railroad network.

Tux Football version 0.3.1 has been ported (2/22/2015) to OS/2. This is a 2D soccer game, which uses the SDL libraries.

libtool version 2.4.6, Automake version 1.15, and Autoconf version 2.69 have been ported (2/22/2015) to OS/2. These are essential tools for developing and/or porting many open source programs.

WDSQL version 0.6 has been released (2/21/2015). This tool allows you to access databases via unixODBC and execute SQL statements; it uses the WDSibyl library.

ntpd version 1.4 has been ported (2/21/2015) to OS/2. The Network Time Protocol client can run detached, or as a VIO app.

Noiz2sa version 0.51 has been ported (2/15/2015) to OS/2. This is an abstract shootem up game, which uses the SDL libraries.

NDPDAV version 1.2.1 has been released (2/14/2015). This is a WebDav client for NetDrive, which allows you to connect to Apache mod_dav WebDAV resources as regular directories on a NetDrive virtual volume. WebDAV is a set of extensions to the HTTP protocol which allows users to collaboratively edit and manage files on remote web servers. The latest version can be found via FTP.

Pocket Starfighter version 0.95 has been ported (2/7/2015) to OS/2. This is a 3D space combat and flight simulator, with a vector graphics style.

The Legend of Edgar version 1.19 has been ported (2/4/2015) to OS/2. This is a 2D platform game with a persistent world.

Blobwars: Metal Blob Solid version 1.19 has been ported (2/3/2015) to OS/2. This is a 2D platform game, where you must infiltrate enemy bases and rescue as many MIAs as possible, while battling vicious aliens.

NASM version 2.11.06 has been ported (1/28/2015) to OS/2. The NASM assembler has support for X86 multimedia extensions, and supports a various number of object formats, including the old .obj format of the Borland compilers.

PSPRINT version 30.905 has been released (1/24/2015). This is an updated, experimental version of the OS/2 PostScript driver, which improves compatibility with CUPS, and adds support for TrueType font embedding. From VOICE News.

Cameraderie version 1.5.3 has been released (1/23/2015). This is a GUI downloader and organizer for digital cameras, supporting both PTP and MSD types. Source code is also available.

PTPro version 1.1.1 has been released (1/23/2015). This is a command line program for retrieving pictures & information from your PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) based digital camera. You can rename and renumber your photos and thumbnails as you save them, view extended info about your pictures (e.g. size in pixels), and more. It is based on ptpcam and is released under the GPL (source included).

Primate Plunge version 1.1 has been ported (1/21/2015) to OS/2. This is a simple and funny action game, which uses the SDL libraries.

cppcheck version 1.68 has been ported (1/17/2015) to OS/2. This is a static analysis tool for C/C++ code, which detects the types of bugs that the compilers normally do not detect.

cvswatch version 1.6.3 has been ported (1/15/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app checks the status of files in a CVS repository.

Njam version 1.25 has been ported (1/12/2015) to OS/2. This is a Pac-Man clone, which uses the SDL library.

More SDL games have been ported (1/11/2015) to OS/2, including: Mr. Drillux version 1.20, a funny remake of an old game by Namco; Cuyo version 2.1.0, a Tetris-style puzzle game for up to two players; and Barrage version 1.0.4 is a rather destructive action game.

bitwise works has released (1/8/2015) Netdrive Dropbox client version 0.4 (use the password "bww" to access the download). It will run for 30 minutes after each reboot, until you purchase a key. From VOICE News.

Paul Smedley has ported (1/8/2015) GNU Binutils version 2.25 to OS/2. These are tools for compiling and linking programs, and most notably includes 'ld' (not functional on OS/2 yet), and 'as', the GNU assembler.

n-Puzzle version 1.0.3 has been ported (1/5/2015) to OS/2. This Qt4 app is a sliding puzzle game.

Fish Fillets version 1.0.1 has been ported (1/4/2015) to OS/2. This is a puzzle game, that was originally a commercial release.

SmartCVS version 7.1.9 has been released (1/2/2015). This is a Java CVS GUI client, with features like built-in File Compare/Merge, Transaction display or List Repository Files, and more. It requires Java 1.4.1 or higher.
